Hi. Need some clarification on this as I don't use brandish that much.

Question: Is CTR practical/useful to have on an Acheron?

From what I gathered, CTR on a brandish is useful for the Combuster/Glacius/Voltedge, while ASI is useful for Acheron, due status infliction.

But personally I have seen more players with Acheron CTR (VH) than ASI (VH). Any reason?

I'd say CTR. Brandish charges are awesome. Just because it doesnt do a status effect like the elemental brandishes doesnt mean its good. Besides, i'd say already a quick sword compared to its counterpart, Gran Faust.

As if the default speed isnt fast enough. Also you can always use switstrike or vog, while ctr is only obtained with trinkets.
