Simple suggestion - Bonus damage stat when you're on fire.
Will hopefully make it more useful and more used by players in-game.
Simple suggestion - Bonus damage stat when you're on fire.

It's more to even out the negatives of losing health while on fire.
People love to use this weapon and dont mind the fire. I say it's already balanced. Plus what about fire resistant gear. That'd be overpowered then, damage bonus but not getting any drawbacks.
Bonuses that mitigate the penalty when something bad happens (like fire resistance) are good. Bonuses that make you WANT for something "bad" to happen are dumb and cause all sorts of balance headaches.
If the "setting yourself on fire" penalty is too severe, then they should reduce the strength of the fire, or just make the sword more powerful in general. They should NOT hand out bonuses that only apply WHILE you are on fire.
While I understand the logic behind balancing the weapon, I do not understand the logic regarding the fact that fire makes you hit harder...
