Okay Ive been working on this set for a while (it's the only one i have right now) most of this stuff is new, unless it's a four star. Most of the four stars are just abour ready to upgrade

helmet Dragon Scale low defnse and shock resisit UVs
armour Dragon scale low defense and shock resit UVs
shield Dragon scale - Maximum! elemental resist & shadow resist Medium UVs

Weapons- Glacius low attack speed and low CTR Uvs
-Faust undead damage medium & fiend damage low UVs (yes, i know it sucks) (oh yes & it is level 10 so yeah upgrades soon)

- Fierce Flambridge attack speed medium CTR medium ( might need to recheck this one i Cant access it SK right now)
-Master blaster- attack speed low UV

So yeah im thinking all i need is some trinkets (maybe an item switch for some darn normal defense) and i'll be good to go.

So is there anything here Bad, or that might set me back at all?

So here's what I see, by elevating everything to 5-star, thinking about damage types, and stripping away UVs:

Dragon Scale Helm (piercing, elemental, fire, beast)
Dragon Scale Mail (piercing, elemental, fire, beast)
Dragon Scale Shield (piercing, elemental, fire)

I'm sorry, but this is terrible armor. Even in Stratum 6, monsters still deal a lot of normal damage, which will annihilate you. Get a shield with some normal protection, and get at least one armor piece with normal protection. Also, at some point you're going to want some shadow protection. For example, if you get one normal/shadow piece (Dread Skelly, Deadshot, etc.) then you'll have a general-purpose armor set.

Glacius (elemental)
Gran Faust (shadow)
Furious Flamberge (piercing)
Valiance (normal)

In contrast, this is a pretty good weapon setup. If you use your gun on a variety of targets, then normal damage is good. However, if you only use your gun on turrets and other targets where swords have trouble, then consider getting an elemental gun instead. You'll do more damage against most turrets, slow constructs, etc.

You've got all three damage

You've got all three damage types covered, so that's good. Your weapon loadout is great, and you've got some decent UVs on there that will be usable for a while.

As for the armor, Dragon Scale isn't necessarily bad, but I'm not sure it's the best pick for your first set. Its lack of normal defense is a bit troubling, and you rarely find yourself confronting piercing and elemental defense at the same time. And you're using three swords, so you should probably go for the Wolver line. I know everybody does that, but that's because it's a good idea.

The shield is interesting. I'm not sure how well it will hold up without normal defense, but it could turn out to be pretty versatile with superb elemental and great piercing defense, as well as a lil shadow as a kicker. You'll have to see for yourself on that, but you may end up wanting something a little more standard.

are you contrarian or something?

Tortoise Shield? What's your problem? Just get Grey Owlite and Barbarous Thorn Shield, like everybody else.

(This is a joke. But there is some truth in it. Those shields are popular because they are good.)

Yeah, my very first high

Yeah, my very first high shield was Dragonscale myself, long before I ever fully understood the defences, and because back then I was told to prepare for FSC being a fire-heavy map. The big fire shield seemed like a great idea to me at the time.

Just cannot find a solid use for it at all. Even in RJP is breaks quickly against anything that's not a slime, and these days BTS just utterly replaces the use for it in there.
