"Three rings for the Spiral Masters in the Lark of Sky" = The ultimate commanders of the Spiral Order, who still languish in the ruins of the Skylark, forgotten to all but a few.
"Twelve for the Crimson Order in their halls of Ore" = The Gremlins who lead the Crimson Order in person, not from atop a throne; who live within their tunnels and halls constructed by their kind from the refuse around them.
"Nine for mortal Knights doomed to die" = Four for the Alpha Squad; Four for those destined to follow in their footsteps; And another for an innocent, taken unaware.
"Nine for the CLockwork Lords on their CLockwork Thrones" = (Bosses) One for the Snarbolax in his lair of Shadows; Two for his poisoned brethern who are condemned to suffer in sickness eternally within their prison of Poison; One for the Jelly King trapped within his own throne, forever condemned to fight for his right to rule his knigdom, unaware it has already been consumed; Another for his Icy Queen, frigid to the touch, and hostile to everything except those she considers worthy; One for the Roarmulus Twins, machines given minds and a bond of brotherhood which binds them in brotherhood, yet also condemns them to die again and again for their Gremlin masters; And another for those machines who emulate them in all except heart and temperament, and have power that would have broken their original's bodies; One for the former King of Almire, who stalks his Flame-ridden Kingdom still believing that it can be restored if he just gives himself to the darkness within the shadows and his mind; and one for his shadow infested copy, deaf to the truth, blind to himself, naught but an inferior copy filled with false memories and power beyond comprehension.
"Nine kings to rule them all, with nine rings to find them, and one thing to take them all, and in the darkness, bind them" = The King of Gremlins, who claims the CLockworks as his own, and kills those that dare say otherwise; The King of Games, jolly and full of life, a mask which covers his true motivations; The King of Knights, who does not call himself one but takes on the same responsibilities, shall inevitably follow the path of all Kings and lead his Knights to their doom; The Architect, the one who built world, this prison, this... this...game, has succumbed to its madness and been forgotten, but even it shall have a part to play.
Yet, five Kings have still yet to step forward and take their rings. The King of Punkins had the chance, yet he threw it away into the inky darkness in the name of "fun". The King of Christmas would never become a part of this horrid game, and threw it far into the CLockworks in the same moment he recieved it.
No matter, when all the Kings of all the Plains have gathered under its banner, knowingly or unknowingly, it shall reveal its heart to the world. And if one foolish enough calls the heart his own... The Swarm shall live yet again. And bind all within its darkness. Forevermore.
What do you mean by "decipher?" It's not like it's in code or anything... it's obviously just the "One Ring to Rule them All" poem, and the characters have all been replaced by Spiral Knights creatures (Clockwork lords meaning bosses, I suppose?). Anyway! I like the idea of Lord of the Rings in Spiral Knights.
What would hypotheticaly replace Hobbits, out of curiosity? Surely not the knights, as they would be the obvious choice for men...
Gremlins? Snipes? Strangers? JELLYS?

Oh dear. Imagine what would happen if the Alpha squad become "ringwraiths." SPIRAL NAZGUL. BAD!
Well, the three rings is OOO, which is a guess. The Spiral Masters are the knights. The Lark of the Sky is obviously the SkyLark and the kings are the bosses. That's all I've got out of it. I don't much like LoTR
