Almire's Wrath is an extremely rare drop from Lord Vanaduke, the weapon is none other then Vanaduke's mace. The mace works like a one handed sword with a basic 3 swing combo. The swing speed is slightly slower then the Fang of Vog, and it 4 star'd.

Stats:

Almire's Wrath
Normal/Elemental damage
Slight chance to cause medium stun
Charge attack has slight chance to cause minor fire

The charge attack for this weapon works like a troika, the player moves forward and swings the mace over his head and slams it into the ground. In addition to this, two fireballs rain down from the sky and explode near the player on contact with anything. The explosion radius of the fireballs is slightly less then a blast block.

Upon reaching maximum level, players can delve down into the Shadow Firestorm Citadel and defeat Darkfire Vanaduke to obtain a maidens tear and craft the Darkfire Scepter at a sanctuary. Darkfire Vanaduke does not drop the Darkfire Scepter, but has a higher chance to drop Almire's Wrath. The Darkfire Scepter works in exactly the same was as Almire's Wrath, but is faster (Even faster then the Fang of Vog by a small amount.) is colored like Darkfire Vanadukes mace and adds two more fireballs and range around the player to the charge attack.

Darkfire Scepter
Shadow/Elemental damage
Slight chance to cause medium stun
Charge attack has medium chance to cause medium fire
Bonus damage to undead: Low to medium

I feel as though this sword should have a damage boost to undead even though it deals shadow damage. These weapons would have high damage and unique abilities because it is a rare and hard to obtain item, since you rely on the fact that only Vanaduke can drop the first weapon.

Hold on a second!!

"An extremely rare drop"? I'm not sure what MMO you're playing, but SK is one of the few MMOs that bosses DON'T drop anything except for tokens.

I'd suggest starting off with it being a purchasable item from Brinks.

Boxes drop items.

Why can't bosses? Boxes do it.

Stay with the theme, broski.

I'm not saying they *can't*, it's just never been done before. SK is certainly not known for dropping any gear at all...with the exception of the extremely rare gear which is worth nothing.

I'm just saying that you may want to stay with the theme. Not that I don't like change, but it may be more likely to be updated to the game, that's all. But if you're intent on adding drops to the game, then I won't stand in your way. I think SK is missing that anyway.

Actually Sev, absolutely any

Actually Sev, absolutely any piece of equipment can drop, even 5* weapons and armour (T3, obviously).

However, I agree. Having a weapon drop from bosses alone is too far from the spirit of the game, which is based around self-crafting and buying from players, not just farming drops. Equiipment drops are such a small chance that they're designed just to be a "Hey! A bonus gift!" rather than anything farmable, especially if it's the only way to obtain it, it would need to have higher odds than current equipment drops.

The problem I have with this

The problem I have with this is the loot drama that will probably ensue when this weapon is made.
You can imagine the rage one would feel about seeing this weapon dropped, only to be picked up by your friend who already has it.

He has a point...

Blaze-breaker makes a great point. As of now, loot drops occur so rarely that it's generally not a problem. If someone gets a duplicate 5* object as a drop, people may envy him, but they can always get that gear/loot from the surface.

Without a loot system in place besides Random-All, things like that are sure to happen.

There's no way to ever make

There's no way to ever make it fair. If it's based on damage to Vana, then the Blitz users will always get it, and other essential members like Shiver users will be guaranteed not to.
If it's random, then anyone can get it; meaning that the same person can get it twice. It's also a bit dodgy if you do the run with different people.
If it's as rare as current gear, there's a very real possibility it will never in your natural life come up.

The only reason other games get away with this is because *all* gear drops, and drops often enough that it's never a worry. To have a single powerful weapon drop from a boss would have absolutely no fair distribution method in a game like this.
If you want a Vana based weapon, just make it cost 200 Almirian tokens. Problem solved; costs a lot so you need to farm the arse out of him (same as if it was rare), everyone has access to it without waiting on random luck or a set playing style, and not everyone will get it because not everyone can be bothered farming that many tokens.

200 Almirian Seals

Aint that a bit too much since Vana only drops 3 at max and Darkfire Vana 6 at max?

...Because FoV is not enough of a trophy weapon as it is, and Sudaruska might have one thing over DA to make it unique enough for people to get.

@ImperialStriker

Well, not only was it an example, but FYI Vanaduke drops up to 4, and Darkfire Vanaduke drops 8 at max.

But even still, 200 Almirian seals is a bit excessive. Keep in mind again that it was an example, he simply meant that instead of making it a drop where there is no loot system, make it a load of tokens.

It would be better to make it

It would be better to make it a token reward. If ou change it to token reward then please and thank you because it doesnt really make sense that a tier 2 boss rewad is better than a tier 3 boss reward (Divine Avenger and Fang of Vog). Or they could just buff the Fang of Vog.
