I was/am watching my bro Shadow play SK, and he was fighting some T3 Gremlins. However, when they died, their bodies stayed for 30ish seconds, looking all grey like the dead gremlins in the beginning of the unknown passageway. they also seemed to have reverted to T1 gremlins.

Glitch? Is this supposed to happen? SOmething new?

I haven't played T3 yet...

But from what I heard, Mendors can Revive Gremlins.

The bodies supposedly stick

The bodies supposedly stick around and wait for a mendor to revive them.

Yup. T3 menders can revive

Yup. T3 menders can revive other gremlins - including more gremlin menders.

They also like to protect themselves in an invulnerability bubble & enchant large areas to heal everything inside with big HP ticks over time.

Deconstruction zones are the worst in T3, especially if you're soloing. The end of some arenas can be a pain too if you don't have a great loadout.

Menders first.

A rule to delve by when in T3.

Silly me.

I had thought they were actually a sort of foreshadowing to the Unknown Passage.

I assume you aren't Tier 3

I assume you aren't Tier 3 yet. The fact that Gremlins leave behind corpses that can be revived by menders is something all Tier 3 players know.
If you're Tier 3 and this is new to you, either you just obtained Tier 3 access or you've just so happened to be avoiding all Gremlins in the Clockworks. :/

No wonder they seemed to be forever spawning... ;D

@ DirtMenders first. A rule

"Menders first. A rule to delve by when in T3."

Except in arena third round. It's suicidal to spawn the 8-turret wave early.

One thing about T3 Mender AI is that they give a priority to resurrect other menders. Outside of arenas you can have your teammates distract the other enemies; kill one mender, and other nearby menders will dash in to heal, with you standing right there ready to kill more.

Except not, if turrets spawn after you kill menders then you messed up something really badly. Two menders with two alpha wolvers/lumbers spawn after you kill the gremlins/mecha knights and the 8 turrets spawn after you kill those. So the way to properly do it is to leave the mecha knights/gremlins and kill w/e is in front of them, then go for the 4 turret spawn and then kill the 4 lumbers/alpha wolvers after which nothing spawns till you don't kill the gremlins/mecha knights. You can only get in the mess you describe when you have 3-6 alpha wolvers/lumbers at once and kill the 2 from the the mender wave and kill the menders then.

On the topic of Arenas..

My strategy is to kill everything normally up until the four turrets in the corners spawn, and leave one alive. From there I kill everything else until the eight turrets spawn, kill off the turrets and leave the final remaining turret of the four turrets from earlier for last. That is how I deal with arenas.

Why would you leave one

Why would you leave one turret while you kill the rest of that wave, then deal with 9 turrets instead of 8, leaving one alive, then have to deal with a turret on the final wave?
That just seems....

Normally, I kill turrets first, always, before eveyrthing. Then menders. Then whatever else is reasonable to kill first (depending on what type of arena and what's spawning).

@Darkbrady

Because nothing spawns after you kill the eight turrets, leaving the lone turret left to kill. It's much better to have a stationary enemy whilst killing the eight turrets, than a meddlesome mecha knight following you around that you can't afford to kill. Before the final wave of the arena starts, I have to kill the lone turrets to spawn four sentinels (Alpha Wolvers or Lumbers) and only after killing them will the last wave spawn.

It's a great strategy that has served me well up until now.

I agree with Darkbrady

I consider turrets a more serious threat, so one mender stays alive while I kill the turrets first. Mecha knights? Just run and shield bump him around... they are almost as easy to keep around as scuttlebots.

...How about just kill anything that moves or shoots? Kill what hurts you more first and move on like that?

I guess in T2 that works, but try that in D28 shock fiends arena.
