The game hates me, getting only bad materials

Today I made four Vana runs with friends and I saw that they get always the 4* and 5* materials. I'm getting always max. 3* (sometimes I got Blaze Pepper but nothing more).

The guy at the right came later into the group.
Is it because I got everything on 5* and trinkets on 5* too? So the 'bader' players get 'rare' stuff?
Support said once 'everybody can have a bad day :D', but in all four runs I got only crap materials.
Hmm well, but I found once a 2* sword today at the end in the boxes after Vanaduke :PPP

You want 4 and 5* mats from FSC? Hell, I have 40 Flame Souls just taking up inventory space, it's not like they're worth much >.> Same with Reaper Ribs, Royal Cores, Blaze Peppers and Blighted Bones, even Shadow Steel isn't much anymore.
I recently saw someone getting a Primal Ore from one of the Wolvers in D27 though, pretty rare in FSC.

And aye, random drops suck sometimes, since they are, ofc, random.
Just wait until you do a run and get every single 4/5* mat and no one else gets any better than a 3*; bet you won't complain then.
Although, if you want to mitigate the issue entirely, do a few solo runs, or play with a friend/girlfriend/guildy/[etc] as a regular and you can just share mats between you as and when you need them. Me and my girl just count all our mats collectively and it feels so much juicier!

Maybe, it popped up the day before yesterday while i was running either the Twins or the tier 3 levels in the Snarbolax gate. I checked my inventory to make sure, ant lo and behold, the lonely calibrator.
Random is random, heck, i usually get jack bleep from the end level roulette, but yesterday I got a mod calibrator.
I only thought, yay, that's a large portion of time and money i don't have to waste playing friggin' Lockdown
The RNG Goddess hates all of us sometimes.
