Silly logic, you don't "work" to obtain Bombhead Masks. It's pure chance, and short of you being absurdly lucky it's time consuming and tedious. If they were giving out boss gear or any actual gear at all that a player needs to upgrade normally I would agree with you, but bombheads are no different than accessories in that they're attained randomly and there's no actual reward for 'working' for them (You could play lockdown indefinitely and still never actually get one, let alone the one you're looking for).
Bombhead masks appearing is chance, but actually obtaining them unless you got super lucky and pulled an all players one, means you have to play until you get that chance and WIN, and winning when people know a bombhead mask is on the line is very, very hard. (Also don't forget blast network). You could idle away with 10000 CE bribing in either of those games, but if you don't work to win, it meant nothing. Similarly if you don't bribe, you never even get the chance to win a mask, so it rewards the lucky and skillful.
I actually have like three and don't care that I have them much, but definitely had my challenges getting them.
Winning random Lockdown is as much about luck as it is about skill due to the nature of team distribution. I was in a match for an Iron Bombhead where we won 500-20 because our team consisted of several skilled players, the opposing team was mostly semi-decent players and one legitimiately skilled played who rage-quit when (s)he realized how useless his/her team was. Even if you're bad, if you you're lucky you could easily end up on a team of extremely good players who carry you to a bomhead. Having a bombhead mask isn't a symbol that you've "worked" or that you're "skilled" or anything of the sort; it means you're lucky, and that you've played Lockdown.
What Echoez said really. It's just a costume mask that's obtained randomly and, imo, don't look good anyway for the most part. It's not quite fair to say that you have to work for the Bombheads, unless you're after the ones that Sullivan sells (i think he has...4/5?) the rest are just unrealistically rare, and even then clocks as a chance thing. I would never go in bribing (hell, I never do anyway..) JUST for a mask, as you'll just be throwing all your CE away. It's like gear drops in the clockworks dropping rarely; it's not something you farm, it's a random bonus drop that you get. Just sit back, play the game and don't worry about bribes. One day you'll look at the scoreboard and see a "You recieved [whatever] bombhead mask" and be like

Considering the stat changes to the Darkfang made recently and the fact we know stuff relating to the Crimson Order is due soon, I wouldn't be holding out hope that it won't be made readily avaliable soon.
Then call me lucky. 4 and I don't even play a lot. 2 from BN, 2 from LD.

I bought none of these, though I was trying to go get an Azure with Krogmo coins. the heart trinkets christmas sale rush ruined that for me. That's not relevant. I'd probably have way more if I played during the steam Christmas promos in tier 1...
But hey whatever, put em up for auction as well. Maybe I can enjoy the temporary CE drop from it.

didn't mean to list silver twice, lol; and i knew i was missing some of the rares, but i was just putting up enough for people to get the gist of what i was after.
and xanafein, lol, uh....even tho u have those already, they should still put them up. This was more of a community aimed theme than: what doesn't xanafein not yet have effort :)
to people saying "oh but this is rare don't do it, blah blah blah" its really no different than once super rare accessories being common featured auction fodder, right down to the fact its all random costumes that make no difference to actual play.
and lastly, i'm sure that the darkfang shield will either soon be featured, or--and more likely--will be a token reward item soon enough.
but fear not brave knights, ....i'm sure they'll just put up 10 more primebombhead masks, lol.
wish we could get some bombhead masks without the wicks!!!! that way we could put head top accessories on them, already. or just let us put head top accessories and it removes the wick.

I hardly think that this is "necessary." I enjoy the challenge of getting a mask, and appreciate the players that have won them. They're prizes, and sometimes you can't put a price on that.

All bombhead masks are given "top" as an acceessory slot. If you put a "top accessory" on a bombhead, it removes the wick and adds that accessory. If they want to, they could even add the wick as an accessory, to make non bombheads into bombheads.
wick mohawk? (this would be soooo siiiiiiiiiiiick. a line of wicks down your head as a mohawk. just sayin')
