Just took this five minutes ago:
"Greavers no longer inflict status ailments through barriers"
No, it actually means those blue energy barriers that monsters are supposed to be unable to go through. Though I bet that shouldn't happen either.
Well they've always been able to spit their haze breath across blocks (because the haze is larger than the blocks, so ify ou're right against it you'll get caught in it), so that's not new. The energy barriers...I couldn't say actually, I don't think I've ever seen a Greaver nearby one of them.
Alotugh the patch definitely did include editing them so that shields will not block the haze breaths. It generally breaks your shield fast though, becasue there tends to be like 3 of them doin' it, but they used to just outright ignore shields and guarantee hit you so...
Plain old greavers can still stun through forcefields, as this happened to me when I was going for dauntless delver, post-patch. I was not impressed
Eh, OOO has a notoriously bad time with patching away this kind of thing. You can still shoot through energy barriers and that was supposed to be gone a few months back. Something about them must be a nightmare to debug.
Not to mention menders still swinging their wands all over the place...
Means shields.
