Here is my message I sent to support.

Hi support,
Before I talk about the problem, I want to say that I love playing Spiral Knights, and believe that it is the best game I've ever played in my life.
So, the problem. I was creating a Cryotech Alchemer MK II (3 star), but I had 2 Cryotech Alchemers (2 star) before hand, and ended up crafting the wrong one (the other one that I meant to craft into a MK II had 2 UV bonuses). Is it possible for me to get 200 energy and 1000 crowns back? If not, is it possible for you guys to send me that amount? I also recommend that instead of having to equip a different weapon to craft the currently equiped weapon into a next star, just have it so that you can select an item from your inventory to craft. I am sure a lot of other players have had this mistake. I would really appreciate it if I got my crystal energy and crowns.

You shouldn't be posting this in the forums.

With all events such as this, you should send a mail to support, like you said you did and leave it at that.

Even if the end result leaves things to be desired, you shouldn't be discussing it on the forums.

Likewise do not discuss bans, temporary or not, or name-and-shame threads.

Hm.impossible.

I still can give you some crown since i do twin's a lot for pulsar i make lot's of crown but mostly i use them on upgrading.
Just add me i ma able to help you to get 100ce if possible:p..

I did the same making an ashtail coat.......said DOH!, told my guildies how stupid i felt, we all laughed, vendored it, saved like crazy to craft again.
It never occured to me that i should be compensated for making this mistake, it was nobodies fault but my own. It's a hard lesson, but I've never made the same mistake again.

Got you beat... I did it when

Got you beat... I did it when crafting my Final Flourish. Had 2, a vanilla one and one with CTR med, didn't pay attention and made the vanilla one into a FF by mistake.

i had

max shadow wolver coat.
crafted a low curse wolver coat.
wanted to craft the low curse up to dusker and sell, clicked "don't transmute" crafted to dusker.....realized it non-transmuted my max shadow into dusker. so F'ing sad was I.

these things are all yours. my life has beeen one tragic event after the next since i got these. i'll just be glad to rid myself of their very...very beautiful, intoxicating, and heady...existance. i'm heading to the unbind station as i type this. they are all yours. but be forwarned..........they are as evil as they are amazing.

ahh darn. i bound them to a white tabard costume. you cannot unbind costume armor. guess i'll just keep them for now :)

I bought a plate shield with high normal, med pierce, and low fire resist 67k on auction once I got it I freaked and was gonna craft the 3* version while about to craft someone spam trade invite me. When the UV transfer thing came up he sent me another trade I raged and doubled clicked, I clicked not to transfer I raged and he gave me all of his crowns to say he was sorry
I got 4,782crowns
Still looking for one like that or better to this day
