I created a new character a few days ago and i got a brandish and i tried the charge
IT CREATED 3 SMALL BLASTS.
And i saw the 5* shockburst brandish charge(it was like 3 shots from a polaris in a line) and i thought should i get a nightblade.
I now got a cold iron carver and kilowatt pulsar.
I would use the nightblade in JK palace to get tokens.

I was thinking to get a faust but this changes everything.
Im surely geting an nightblade.
The 2* Brandish only does two explosions, the third one is a bug and does no damage.

I feel that Archeron has always been the better choice in terms of dealing damage
Only upside Faust has is inflicting curse, but isn't really reliable in doing so
If you're used to 3-swing swords, definitely get nightblade
Especially with the buff now
1. You spelled RJ wrong
2. Brandish was changed 10 days ago.
3. reasons to use (Gran) Faust over Acheron:
-More powerful
-More knockback
-it's the only weapon in the game that inflicts curse, and STRONG curse at that.
-slightly more range
And as for curse not being reliable, the charge attack curses about as often as the *brands cause their respective statuses. Granted you may curse yourself, but with a weapon slot upgrade and curse being a very powerful status, that often isn't a big deal. And unlike the *brands, it can status without even charging.
On another note, I recently re-tried using Vile Striker on the Royal Jelly...it was as bad as I remembered. I'm better off with my Fireburst Brandish + Radiant Sun Shards + Faust combo.

Higher starred versions of brandishes will unleash more explosions; the acheron will leave 5 blasts from the charge, and becasue of that is a very nice tool for taking down JK while keeping out of range of his headbuttKB.
