Ads in Spiral Knights? You must think I'm crazy, but if ads were added in the right places, they could generate revenue for Spiral Knights without disrupting gameplay much, if at all. (That means lower CE prices and possibly the return of elevator passes, hint, hint.) Obviously developers would have to choose ads carefully, and they can't be in places where they could possibly cause someone to die by lag (aka anywhere in-game).
Where, then, to put ads? Try the following ideas on for size:
-Loading Screens (though it's better to keep hints, they really helped me when I was a newbie)
-Alchemy Machines
-Vendors? (Particularly Basil since people buy from him a lot)
-Gate menus in the Arcade
-Coliseum sign-up
-On the screens after Coliseum battles
-The Auction House?
Its part F2P/P2P game. No to ads. If it would be pure F2P game then hell yeah, they could wink just in front of my face right in vana run.
