As far as I knew, until recently, is that poison hinders healing and it lowers the attack..
But what I noticed today was that a poisoned target takes more damage..

Is this supposed to be like this? Or did my eyes play tricks on me?

And if the poisoned ones defense really goes down, then it should be added to the wiki, because it doesn't say so there..

Quote from wiki: Monsters

Quote from wiki:

Monsters afflicted with poison will be unable to heal themselves or regenerate health, and will take damage if a fellow enemy (e.g., Gremlin Menders or Wings) heals them. It will also weaken the monster's attack power and defense.

The Wiki is still highly outdated

Poison weakens the attack and defense of the afflicted, and completely prevents being healed (but not healing others).
The ability to make self-healing do damage was removed shortly after it was added to the Poison status.

That's what I'm confused

That's what I'm confused about as well. I haven't seen any monster heal another to death. Maybe it's because of the computer AI (it stops healing if it realizes another monster has been poisoned).
We could test it out on some jellies. Quicksilvers heal when they're shocked, whether they like it or not. Same with Oilers, except when burned.

Poison can kill with healing

I can confirm that a gremlin has killed another gremlin by healing it in my presence, I use the vile striker all the time :) However, its only happened twice ever for me, so the damage must be REALLY low, because in t3, there are those healing circles made by the gremlins that heal repeatedly, and i push poisoned mobs in them when I can.

Poisoned monsters do indeed

Poisoned monsters do indeed take damage when healed, though I don't believe it is a WHOLE lot, and I'm not sure if it is based on a flat amount (like curse) or a percentage of the original amount of healing. Also not sure if it applies to healing from sources other than actual healing "attacks" like the Menders and Wings do. IE, what Saphykun mentioned about quicksilvers when they are shocked. All stuff for us to test, hmm? :)

Oh, I do remember testing out one thing: poisoning a monster and putting it to sleep does not seem to cause it damage. The last time I tried that, it just... got healed by the sleep status like normal. Which means that, yes, Sleep vials are still pretty much completely useless. Haha.
