Just letting everyone know, if you are resistant to a status bomb in lockdown, and you go recon, your shield will still break.
Ex: Skolver Cloaks and sneaks into a live shivermist. Recon shield breaks. Skolver unaffected by mist. 3 Seconds later, killed by observant strikers.

The haze bombs emit a "pulse", radiating from the center. It does no damage, instead delivering their status effect if the line of sight to a mob or player is clear (mender shields, trojan shields, destructible environments and walls stop it). They do it quite often, a single shivermist will refreeze Vanaduke quite a few times if he gets shot at with a gun during. I'm not sure if shadow fire also stops a shivermist, but I tend to lay shivers on spots where there is none between it and Vanaduke.
Status resistance like a full skolver set makes the pulse ineffective, but you're still being "hit" by it. And any hit will break your Recon cloak. Makes me wonder if the vortexes also "hit" with their pull effect (not the blast at the end).
^ ah, I see. Vortexes do damage with the pull (minimal), but I'm pretty sure the bomb during the pull won't break recon shield.
it's the initial hit that downs you (you're not immune to damage), just charge in without your cloak to 2hit the bomber and get the mist off the CP, recloak
5 seconds later, if nobody comes to help you then you're on the wrong team
