I think that when you are fighting Lord Vanaduke you should be able to see some sort of health bar or number amount above his head so you can see how much health he has left.

To what end? All the bosses

To what end?
All the bosses have distinct phases, once you reach the last phase you know it's only a matter of time.

The total health

Well i was thinking that it would just be his overall health not depending on the stage so you would know if it was worth it to take a risk to get in the last shot that would kill him.

Well...that's the whole

Well...that's the whole fun/excitement/gamble of it, not knowing exactly how much he has left, and whether it's worth it to res or not.#

Even more so with JK, although you can tell when he's full hps.

I'm with Darkbrady.

He, along with most other bosses, has distinct phases, which don't change, and there are always the same amount of them. It might as well be a Health Bar. Jelly King now loses his Crown, whereas before it was impossible to tell how much he was hurt...unless he stopped healing. The Twins are obvious, you damage one until its shield activates, then hurt the other.

I think the only one that doesn't go into distinct phases is the easy one, Snarbolax; and he really doesn't need one.

I think a health bar is unnecessary at this point.

Well yes but it would be nice

Well yes but it would be nice even if he doesn't get a health bar but his body gets all dark, bruised, and cracked, or something to let you know in the 5th stage how close you are to killing him.

Wouldn't mind that.

If his armor gets visibly damaged in his final stage, I wouldn't find any harm in that. Just not sure exactly how useful it'd be.

Another suggestion

Or his armor could start to slowly break, crack, and fall of until the final hit causes his armor to shatter completely and he collapses on the ground as he already does.

When you're three quarters

When you're three quarters into his health already, do you really need to know whether you're one eighth or not?

Just cannae see the point, here. Put health bars in and next thing folk'll be asking for exact numerical digits.
