A simple way to fix the Catalyzer

This is just something I thought that would be really balanced for the Catalyzer, but at the same time buff it enough to make it team friendly.

2 Star- You obtain it. It is how it is now
3 Star- This is where you choose the element. It is how it is now.
4 Star- The charges that stick on the monsters never leave the monster. They never fade away as they did for the 2 and 3 star.
5 Star- If the monster dies with a charge on it then all the charges, on that monster, will detonate automatically.

It wouldn't break the game, it wouldn't make this weapon overpowered, it would simply make the gun 2 things:

A.) Good in teams, instead of just solo play.
B.) Makes it, overall, a more useful Gun, and it still gives the pulsar a reason to exist.

Sure, this has probably been talked about before, but I really want this idea, in particular, to be taken seriously. This isn't a thread for all the suggestions, but a simple one to say "This one is my idea that seems balanced enough to work perfectly without changing too much, but changing enough to make it an amazing gun to have."

whoa

Great thinking; I definitely agree, and it would make the Catalyzer definitely more viable.

One thing I have to add: at 5*, give the shots homing abilities, like Rocket Puppies' projectiles.

Homing is unbalanced you

Homing is unbalanced you could shot offscreen on purpose behind some blocks and the bullet would hit. The enemy won't have a chance to retaliate.
Another issue is if you want a specific enemy or want to hit a block. The bullet wont do what you want properly.

I would have to agree.

Homing is that make or break thing, plus I wouldn't like it. I shoot it at the thing in front of me, but there's something closer to the right so it aims toward it. I didn't want to hit it, but it was closer so I have no choice. There'd be no other way to aim it unless it's where your cursor is, which would be annoying.
