I think that there should be an equipment changing mat on the floor of the boss so you can change your equipment if the boss differs from the levels leading up to it.

You think it needs that NOW. Shoulda been here a few months ago, you could only change them in terminals and subtowns. Arsenal Stations per level didn't exist.

The boss is supposed t be in line with the rest of the dungeon.
And we have weapon slots. Dont make those more useless.
If you still cant bring all you need with 4 slots, then you have a problem.

Nope.
If you had cared to notice, after the first stage in a line of a boss stage series, Arsenal Stations don't exist. It is intentional so that you use the same gear for all of JP/FSC/etc.
If you could switch right before the boss, it'd really eliminate the point of..let's see...."Being prepared"?

I'm pretty sure they built the levels without the equipment stations in deeper areas of boss strata on purpose to make people think about what they're bringing before going down. I could be completely wrong, of course.
