simply put i think this bomb needs to inflict multiple hits rather then just one, 2-3 for the spikes and 1 for the spectral snarbalox.
mayb even give the bomb a stun or shock effect for its howl as it says in the bombs description, the howl this bomb produces is said to be even more crippling then its blast.

damage remains the same but i really think it needs to be split into mutiple hits otherwise theres really nothing that sets this bomb apart from every other bomb its a 5* snarbalox weapon and i for one want that feeling of wow this is a neat item and apart from the nice spectral snarbalox it just dosent have it :S

As if dealing 100 damage in one hit or 33 on 3 is such a huge difference. Might actually be bad since you wont know exaqctly how much damage you are dealing with numbers flying everywhere.

Errr...

" theres really nothing that sets this bomb apart from every other bomb its a 5* snarbalox weapon and i for one want that feeling of wow this is a neat item and apart from the nice spectral snarbalox it just dosent have it :S"

Wait, that sort of rings a bell...OH YES, the cattlebrand, flourish clone. In fact, ALL Snarbolax items are clones of other gear, fueled mostly by all the Snarby-Fans, with slight differences. The Shadow Lair reward (Armor) is a Snarbolax item that is mostly "unique" in form of stats, but is still based on the Wolver template.

I don't see a lot that separates any Snarby piece from normal gear, really..

As a matter of fact

The DBB is the only pure piercing damage bomb in this entire game.

ISB (Ionized Salt Bomb) : Pierce/Normal
RSS (Radiant Sun Shards) : Pierce/Elemental

Nitronome and the "less desirable Blast Lines": Pure Normal

All Haze bomb lines, the Capacitor Line, and the Electron Line: Pure Elemental

The Graviton Line: Pure Shadow

DBB nicely fills the role for a Pierce damage bomb, giving bombers a weapon that can reliably clog a Wolver's throat shut with spikes or turn a Devilite into a cactus.

In addition, its lack of knockback makes its a great bomb to lug into teamplay, without people yelling at you for making that gremlin go "blast off" right into a teammate's face, thus resulting in a "thwack" by the gremlin's hammer.

The DBB already sets itself apart by its own role, no need to change it.

ok you do make a good point but i definitly think this bomb could use a stun effect infact i think it really needs it even a minor stun.

@Imperial: Just since you

@Imperial:
Just since you mentioned everythin' else, you forgot electron line: elemental.

@Iturnip:
If we explain why a stun effect is unnecessary, will you try and explain why it should get fire?

Looks to me like you use the bomb and just want it to be better than it already is.
DBB is currently one of the most useful bombs for dealing with its specific roles:
wolvers/devils = dodge, so the xtal bombs are awkward for that. DBB clears them.
Trojans can only be dealth with bombers by either shiver+xtal bomb, (which is slow and annoying to do) or a single, effortless DBB.
Lack of KB makes sense, and makes it useful in ways that Nitro aren't. \
Lack of KB makes sense, and makes it awkward in ways that Nitro isn't. / (both leading to: no need to change the KB)
It retains a knock-down, and combined with lack of KB, it becomes *the* perfect wolver killer.

I mean, stun would be redundant. Watch the videos of people DBBing wolver dens, bombers literally don't even need to move, the wolvers just get bombed, flipped, bombed, flipped, die.

There's absolutely no instance where a stun would be needed, since it alreayd knocks-down and interrupts the mobs you use it against.

DBB is well balanced

Have you ever seen a DBB in action? It is absolutely devastating to gremlins and wolvers (as well as beasts and undead). A shorter fuse might be nice, but the ability to knock down without knocking back makes the DBB very team friendly, which cannot be said about its counterpart, the Nitronome. Gremlin arenas, for example, are a joke. I can dodge around in the middle plunking DBBs and keep an entire roomful of gremlins safely knocked down. As much as it'd be nice to see the DBB buffed, it doesn't need it. Much like the Brandish line before the charge attack buff, it is a perfectly functional weapon with a (rather large) niche and comparable with similar weapons.

What?

So, are you asking to buff a bomb that can kill Devilite mobs in 2 or 3 attacks, which can be spammed and each hit flinches victims? It is one of my main weapons and I don't think it needs a buff at all, it is wonderful against most mobs.

lol?

DBB is totally fine the way it is. I mean you can waltz through a pure wolver den (ignoring the odd lumber/polyp) with just that bomb. Hell, you dont even need to equip a shield. Its really that good.
