The Rapier could be the sword that does piercing damage in some form, whether it be a dual damage weapon or a pure piercer.
And the Laser Blade could be a sword that does pure elemental or shadow damage.
Honestly though, it'd be nice if there was a "pure" damage type sword like what you can find in the Alchimers.
i said something about that in the general section, don't know if you saw that.
yah i thought it would be fun as well, having purely typed swords.
