Not going to waste time explaining this - as we all know our suggestions aren't read even if implemented: Only the title counts. I am not going to use my time if they won't give me theirs. No need to refute or bring this up again, it is obvious and we have known about this for quite some time. Anyways...

How it works is that if you like this, you bump it in a way that is discussing it but not bumping because bumping is against rules - I find it ridiculous to pay 150 crowns listing fee to sell something at 80 crowns for example is an on-topic non-bumping bump statement regardless if someone else has said something similar already. Avoid double posting, but here and there is fine.

That way it is an "active" thread, and the title is more visible and this might happen.

TL;DR: post below making some random agreeing statement if you agree.

if you disagree I highly suggest you don't say anything because that just makes the title more visible to devs and thread more active and officially messes up your goal of voicing your suggestion against it. If you do voice your disagreeing, that is also fine and welcome. Just keep in mind what I previously stated.

You get the money back anyways.
I simply don't care, enjoy the bump.

Eh...

Why all the pessimism? The Devs DO read these, but like someone stated somewhere else, if a dev commented on a thread, people will think that it's likeliness of implementation just jumped tenfold.

For example, the Howlitzers. I remember seeing the thread to develop them, looking a the pictures and all, and when they came out, as far as I could tell, they were EXACTLY what the thread asked them to be, down to the last visual detail. With perhaps an addition or two, I can't remember.

Uh...what?

And attention doesn't necessarily mean good attention. If Devs were employed without understanding that, then I don't think I want to live on this planet anymore.

lolol Utter pessimist.

As Psycho said, the Devs do read them, and Admin posts can be misleading to everyone.

But you get the listing fee back when they sell anyway....you just lose 10% off the sale price when they sell. Honestly, I put stuff up for 2 Days when it's at a good price (Not necessarily a good idea for HTSs, like costumes), because you get reimbursed anyway.

Question to ^ comment:

Do you...ever...have expensive materials? I mean, maybe 2K-a-piece is the highest you get for materials. I find the listing fee to be more annoying when selling recipes, which have a lower sell-rate generally, than materials.

Unless, of course, you're selling a stack of 30 2K-a-piece materials, which I certainly wouldn't recommend. Listing fee is the same if you sell them one at a time.

I always put a starting bid

I always put a starting bid of 2cr on all the mats I sell. I get maybe 1% that don't go for the buy-it-now price, or close to it. I can't remember a single instance of a mat auction not selling.

I usually put higher bid prices on the ragecrafted equipment I sell (usually put the starting bid at the vendor buyback price), and I get maybe 10% of those auctions going unsold, with maybe 25% of the sold ones going near the bid price rather than the buy-it-now price, but eating a 30-50cr loss on the listing fee for those is hardly the end of the world.

Its meant to be that way to

Its meant to be that way to not make marked flooded by low value mats.

Also high fee is encouraging players to actually THINK before posting something on AH.

Lowering posting bid = less thinking, less thinking = bad.

Like Nicoya-Kitty said, post wisely, when i post mat, i pick price carefully, then i pick bide price like few times lower in case noone will buy it now and will get attracted by low bit, so in the end ill get my listning fee back.

TL;DR If you believe they

TL;DR
If you believe they don't read suggestions, why do you write a loooong post about how they don't read suggestions?
Anyways, as I see it, material listing fee is perfectly fine. Just don't be greedy and it will sell. If you're not happy with low prices, go to bazaar vendors - they offer small amount of crowns and take any mat in any numbers.
