And be a pure bomber's lfesaver in solo. You might want to get a elemental weapon, to deal with turrets. Brandishes, polaris, alchemers.
Yes, you have piercing (Final Flourish) and shadow (Umbra Driver). As the other posters have noted, you don't really have elemental. I would just add one more thing. If you were keeping the Nitronome around as "your normal weapon", don't; you don't need to have a normal weapon. You just need piercing, elemental, and shadow. Consider replacing Nitronome or Radiant Sun Shards with a true elemental weapon.
You don't NEED normal damage if you already have all three types.
RSS's main targets are undead and fiend, and it's also pretty good against constructs. Not so much on wolvers (they dodge).
So take that and flourish, and your shadowtech, and the last weapon doesn't really matter. If you're gonna take another bomb, I suggest getting a vortex. It works well with any setup.
You should really start picking a weapon type to specialize in.
Assuming you're a bomber, I have a few suggestions:
Lose the Master Blast Bomb. The large blue cloud obscures people's screens, and sends
monster flying everywhere. Perfectly fine for soloists. Not cool for team play.
Assuming you followed the first thing, I'd suggest picking up snarbies bomb.
It knocks down enemies, doesn't scatter them, and is less flashy.
You might want one or two mist bombs. If you're thinking about FSC,
it would be a good idea to pack a Voltaic Tempest or Shivermist Buster.
The latter would come in handy for Vanaduke.
People love a good vortex bomb. It's a proven fact that monster are easier to kill
when they're packed into a small area. I'd prefer the Electron Vortex over the Graviton
because it inflicts Shock, but it requires a lot more effort to get.
I'd recommend a non-bomb for utility. Such guns as the Polaris and Elemental Alchemers
are good at taking out turrets, and the latter can be used in normal circumstances without
affecting teammates. The Calibur line weapons are also really good at knocking back enemies.
The end.
The reason to specialize in one weapon type is that you can get armor and trinkets that boost that weapon type. For example, I wear sworder armor and sword trinkets, because I use mainly swords, and I want them to have huge bonuses. Whenever I carry a gun or bomb (for example in FSC), they have no bonuses other than their UVs.
However, there is no other reason I can think of, to specialize in one weapon type. If you want to use a variety, go right ahead.
- Sun Shards are split piercing and elemental, so you don't truly have every damage type covered.
- Master Blast Bomb will get you kicked out of most parties.
