Game won't launch: Server returned HTTP response code 502

When I click on the "play" link, java loads then displays this error:

"The application has failed to launch due to the following error: Server returned HTTP response code: 502 for URL: http://download.threerings.net/spiral/20110415013205/digest.txt"

I've tried downloading the client and the same error comes up as soon as I launch. In both cases it says "0% complete" for all it's worth. Is this a server issue? My java is completely up to date.

If anyone has any information

If anyone has any information on this it would be very helpful, I've searched the technical support forum and there's no posts with the same problem it seems.

I've sent in a help request

I've sent in a help request as well, if I get a response I'll post it here. I thought it might be a server thing but I've been trying it for the last 24 hours with no success.

Does this or a similar error

Does this or a similar error occur when you use the downloadable client?
At first glance, that does look like it might be a server-side issue, so please do report back with SK's response.

The error occurs on the

The error occurs on the website and in the downloadable client, as I said in my initial post. It won't download the actual game at all. Still waiting for word on the situation from admins here or via e-mail. I have a feeling it's server side, but not sure why so few people are experiencing it then. As someone who was trying to review the game for a blog, this isn't a good start haha.

Found a temporary solution.

Found a temporary solution. It's a problem between the server and our IP addresses it seems. I don't want to give out more info than I should, but if you could find a way to change your IP address, it should do the trick. Still, I would like to see this resolved on the server end as this is a deterrent and a hassle.
