    Problem:

The charge of the Divine Avenger is bugged. When a knight is using the charge attack, with the users back near or against a wall, the first strike of the charge attack will hit your opponent, however, the secondary part of this attack is cancelled out. Presumably the charge is encountering interference from the wall behind you.

I know this weapon has already been patched in order to prevent knights from using the charge in ways it was never meant. However, this is clearly a bug, no other charges are interrupted by obstacles behind you.

    Solution:

Update the charge attack of the Divine Avenger so that a knight can use a full charge (effectively) while against/near a wall.

A bug or a way to prevent knights hugging a corner and spam charge without being attacked. Would have been easily noticeable in an arena.

If the charge cancelling is because of this reason, they why would the brandish line (and all other swords with projectile charge) have the ability to use its full charge while against a wall?
It seems it is just the Divine Avenger is the only one, no other weapons have a charge cancelling effect while against a wall.

If it is the intention of the devs to use this as a means of preventing charge spam and wall hugging then so be it, just seems a little specific to this one weapon.

Polaris also has charge cancelling while standing with back to wall. And you wont tell me its to prevent knights from camping in corner and charge spamming? Who uses Polaris charge anyways ? And to camp with it? (spamming polaris charge is beyond my imagination)

I saw that with GF too, you know what happens after few charges? Who on sane mind would camp in corner and GF charge spam?

Its cleary a bug affecting projectile shooting weapons, not thing made in purpose. If it would be made in purpose, to prevent using charge spamming of powerful weapons aka DA, it would affect only DA. But while it affect also not really helpfull in charge camping weapons like Polaris and Gran Faust, imo its cleary a bug which from some unknown reasons is not getting fixed, while reported many times.

Both have similar problems, as far as the 'Eagle' that fires out. The bullets themselves work fine, but the Eagle will hit things behind you instead of firing properly.

Besides that input, I'm not gonna repeat what Asukalan said, but he's right. :P

Wall bug cancels charge attacks.

Since I am not a frequent user of the Gran Faust charge, or the Polaris, I hadn't known this issue always effected those weapons. I know this thread title should be a little more general to this bug, not just DA. However, this has been a problem awhile, and has gotten no attention.
