All right,
I don't know how many of you use the Autoaim Feature with a Gamepad but one thing to tell you is, it's hell to play this in FSC!
Why?
Because every [loving] Trojan and Sluag Guard is behind you because of the Autoaim.
Yes, they don't like you because you aim at them and that's why they're hunting you like the Predators.
And YES! It's NOT funny when three of them are slamming their Swords at you!

So else you want to help your friends to attack the Trojans from behind, keep it to distract them, else turn it off.

Also turn it off if you don't want that Vana is after you in 90% of the case.

Plutogold out!

You're suppose to know how to

You're suppose to know how to deal with aggro anyways... Especially trojan aggro. It's not a job delegated to one party member.

Edit: Yes, it is funny to watch some guy run around trojans trying to dodge swords. Have you tried running back and forth, forcing them to turn slight, but still facing the same direction? Unless you are doing this solo, its the perfect way to deal with them, besides shiver blitz.

Autoaim is good for fast

Autoaim is good for fast shooting/fast attacking weapons.

For weapons with slow bullets, its better to turn it off, since autoaim aims at enemy, while when your bullet is slow, you want to aim where enemy will propably be at the time bullet reaches its destination, therfore you must aim manually.

are you kidding?

i LOVE autoaim in FSC =0

helps me line up my brandish charges :) usually i let em come at me, then run to the side and auto-aim the first one on the right to make the charge connect with that one and all the ones next to it =0

Or regularly aim and just

Or regularly aim and just barely clip that other zombie to the side, including the original herd.

All right thank you for the

All right thank you for the comments!

But to answer one thing:
Yes I can handle with Trojans, I dodge their attacks, and attack their crystal on their back.
It's just I recognize that they're almost always targeting me.

Example in FSC:

2 Trojans were summoned and both of them are following me and ignoring my three other party members (I was like, okay maybe I just had bad luck)
but than after a few FSC runs, in 80% case ALL the Trojans are targeting me.

With Vana it was the same, in 10 attacks 7 of them I'm the target. I was asking myself why the heck is he always attacking me.
After I turned off the autoaim, suddenly he target only those who attacked him.
So yeah, nuff said.

But I agree with Asukalanforum
For slower weapons you should turn off the autoaim.

I turned auto-aim off and

I turned auto-aim off and never looked back. It's either pointless or detrimental to Blitz, Umbra, and Polaris, which are my guns. I can see it being useful on Callahan and AP/Sentenza, but beyond that you don't want it aiming your guns for you, and Callahan is pretty easy to aim anyway.

Also, I always want aggro from Trojans and Vana (I am a very zealous Blitzer), and I almost always have it. Auto-aim doesn't seem to have anything to do with it to me.

I keep it on mostly because I

I keep it on mostly because I primarily use swords. However, I have it bound to my shift button and disable it whenever I use my magma driver or if monsters are causing me to attack the wrong direction (brandish charge attack for example).

I'm pretty sure auto aim has

I'm pretty sure auto aim has nothing to do with aggro and I use auto aim all the time. Trojans however are unique in that they focus on whoever has hit them the most times not who has done the most damage - which is also why they love chasing haze-style bombers.

I shut that stuff off as soon

I shut that stuff off as soon as I learned how.

"Okay, have to use this charge on this enemy to knock the whole crowd away and grab that health behind me"

*releases charge and misses the enemy the game chose to target(not the one i wanted)*
*gets hit by half a dozen attacks from the crowd i wanted to hit*
*dies*

As much as auto target works for some people, that crap gets me killed.

One thing that I'm surprised

One thing that I'm surprised most people don't know, is that there's an auto-aim button that you can bind to a key. Others in this thread have mentioned it, but with so many people mentioning both "on" and "off" it seems to be not that common of knowledge yet. When you hold that key, auto-aim turns on, when you let go, it's back to normal. Very useful for not losing fidelity with Divine Avenger or Polaris, but being able to attack trojans with a piercing sword without flying past them.

That loses out on a easily

That loses out on a easily accessible key, if one doesn't mind. Default is left shift.

Are you using the full combo on a trojan? Thats 3 hits. I can hit 4, by canceling the second attack and repeating it. And then 2 more hits, if he decides to use the powerup directly after.

well, considering there

well, considering there aren't that many buttons that you need to click, I don't think it matters that much. I guess if you want individual weapon key bind it matters, but I just use the scroll wheel since I only have 3 weapons.
