This is my computer:

Operating System
MS Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit SP1
CPU
Intel Core i7 2600K @ 3.40GHz
Sandy Bridge 32nm Technology
RAM
8.00 GB Single-Channel DDR3 @ 668MHz (9-9-9-24)
Motherboard
ASUSTeK Computer INC. SABERTOOTH P67 (LGA1155)
Graphics
SMT23A350 (1920x1080@60Hz)
AMD Radeon HD 6900 Series (ATI)
Hard Drives
488GB Western Digital WDC WD5002AALX-00J37A0 ATA Device (SATA)

I can smoke this game obviously, but I'm limited to 8x AA because I chose a (in my opinion) superior graphics card? Wtf? This is pretty unfair no matter how you look at it. Implement 16x AA for my gfx card plz~

Wow, is it really

Wow, is it really nescessary?
I mean, even with the game running at its minimum graphical options it's still decent looking.
It's not like you need a 16x AA.

Seriously, I think you're just trying to brag about your PC... -.-

Antialiasing

In all honesty, Antialiasing doesn't make a huge difference in graphics. I was at 16X AA for a while but every time I change it I don't even realize a difference.

It's not necessary at all really.

Scootsy, check your Catalyst

Scootsy, check your Catalyst Control Center. You'll see AMD cards don't support 16x AA in the default modes. You can push the effective sampling rate higher with driver overrides (edge detect filter), but it makes the edges go fuzzy. If you want simple and easy 16x AA in this game you'll have to go buy an NVidia card.

It's great you have what you consider a superior card, but you actually need to understand it's limitations before you complain about something.

@Blue-Phaze You entirely

@Blue-Phaze You entirely missed my point man. Entirely. :s

@Dogrock Now THIS is helpful, thanks for the information. I didn't even know about that because I leave the CCC off.

I didn't miss your point, I

I didn't miss your point, I was just saying I wouldn't complain over such a silly/unescessary thing.
Why do you even want a higher AA with a PC like yours anyway? There's barely any difference, if any.

I found one thread on google

I found one thread on google linked to these forums about this issue, and all I saw on the wiki was that my card could only go up to 8x AA, no elaborating. I had a problem and wanted it answered, so I asked. That's what these forums are for. If you don't care about my problem or have my problem then I don't think it's right that you should be telling me that it's irrelevant, because it isn't to me.

Edit: 8x to 16x is DOUBLE the AA, it may not be "super" noticeable but it's a difference alright, it's 2 times less jaggies.

This is just my honest

This is just my honest opinion about your thread '-'
This isn't "Yahoo! Answers", forums are for discussions, and I presented a negative reply; nothing wrong with that.
Chill.

Well whatever, technical

Well whatever, technical issues aren't irrelevant. Sorry.

That being said, I didn't know what the problem was until Dogrock posted about it, and so this whole thread could've been avoided with better documentation, or (preferably) references to documentation on the wiki/maybe ingame somewhere.
