When i try to go into Spiral Knight through steam, the application opens up in the dock, then a second spiral knight dock application opens and starts the first application closes. and the game starts normally.

The spiral knight log in page comes on normally, but there is no button to log in through steam, i click on log in through facebook the game crashes i tried typing in the steam number that the website gave me but the game crashes. logging in as guest works fine .

i have reinstalled spiral knight and steam many times, re-downloading from the site and through steam with the same result. i have looked through the forums and seen problems like mine but have not helped me resolve my problem. please help if you can.
