Do you think we could get voices for our knights?

One thing that I want is an accessory that gives you voices from other steam stuff that says things if you do certain things in the clockworks (not on surface cause that could get hectic/annoying).

For instance, I really want to get a voice like the soldier from TF2, and that if I revived people, I would call them maggots and if I said attack, fall back and stuff that would have similar voices. These voices however, would also be subject to "ignore" so you can get block it out.

Opinions?

Well, with the new Metal

Well, with the new Metal Sonic and Tails Tails promo items out, I bet people would want voices for those two characters to go along with their set. Just considering how popular those items are.

But it might not be a bad idea for voices for knights.

Eh

While not out of the question, I would rather the money used to hire people to scream into microphones in such a way that it sounds nice to go to paying modelers and programers, so that we can finally get some new enemies, (and old ones; tortodrones, vog cubs, etc. etc.), and new levels.

I will say that the bomberman games did have this (SK is based off of that, in part), and that SK could implement something similar to it (although it wouldn't be good IMO), and that it could fit.

I'd like it if didn't cost as

I'd like it if didn't cost as much as I think it be expensive
I think however much money spent on voices could be better spent on newer content.

hmmmm... I wouldn't mind voices and grunts, but spoken dialogue?

I could maybe like some voices for grunts and yells but I think spoken dialogue would feel terribly out of place,
especially if it were outside material like TF2 or Sonic.

I don't see how they would do

I don't see how they would do this.....

Baby steps. Maybe we could start out with a list of words EXAMPLE: Hi. Goodbye

And something where we can edit how our voices sound, high low ect.

Nobody wants the same voice.

@ Atgatg

Phantasy Star Universe had something exactly like that. Several different voices for each man and woman, then you could change the pitch by varying degrees. It gave decent variety.

+1

Reminds me of the Arnold Swartsanegger Voice commands in Savage 2.

"Absolootly"
"Put your mother on the phone"

Its very personal thing, you

Its very personal thing, you cant really make everyone happy forcing them to use certain set of voices, some will be always not amused with selection.

Voices can be fun but please if you ever put them in game "ADD EXTRA SLIDER IN SOUND OPTIONS: VOICE VOLUME, TURN OFF"

And why i have that strange feeeling it will turn game from visible chat spam to hearable real sound spam?

I already said that it wouldn't function on the surface so the only place it could be annoying is in party of three other people. I doubt you would have any huge problem

alternatively

Our knights speak in a VERY different language.

So our "voices"/dialogue sound like old synthesizer tunes.

And if we ever meet the Alpha Squad and they've turned evil they sound like glitchcore
