Would you use Sealed Sword ASI Very High for Divine Avenger or Gran Faust?
I am also taking into consideration the resale value in future - DA ASI Very High versus GF ASI Very High.

GF because it can then compete with the faster and more potent Acheron. You'd be able to inflict curse easier and maybe even catch up with gremlins.
Without a UV, the GF is great for slimes but blows against gremlins, the other intended victim of shadow damage, because they're simply too fast for a heavy sword.
DA is most known for its potency in FSC, but seeing as people use the Vog Cub set with it in there (2x med ASI) I'm not sure if you'd even need an ASI UV.

Gran Faust definitely.
If I had to play against someone wielding this sword with full skolver in Lockdown, I would end up quitting.
Also, the Undead and Constructs are easier to hit than Slimes and Gremlins.

Both DA and GF are good. I would get the one that complements your other swords. If you don't have a shadow sword yet, get GF; if you don't have an elemental sword yet, get DA. This UV doesn't influence my view on the matter much.
Metagenic does raise a good point. DA is great for FSC, but if you end up wearing double Vog Cub, then any ASI UV over Medium is wasted. But maybe you could wear some other armor then.
I don't really get why you care about resale value. Do you often sell your equipment? I have plenty of other swords, but I still use DA and GF sometimes, and I can't imagine selling them.

Eh, in the clockworks you tend to use offensive trinkets/vog to pick up the slack, so anything past med is useless. In LD however, where heart trinkets are the norm, VH is far more beneficial. As such, I'd go with GF, since shadow is such a popular damage type in LD.

If you play Lockdown a lot, Gran Faust definately. Otherwise the choice really depends on what gear you have already and your preferred loadouts.

@Bopp: Thanks for the reply, perhaps I didn't phrase my question well.
I am just curious is the UV ASI VH better for DA or GF line. I am not asking how mix and match my arsenal, though I appreciate your thoughtfulness.
And yes resale value is important to a certain extent. Like what Mbcscp has pointed out, GF ASI VH > DA ASI VH in terms of value. I shall not elaborate on why is it important to me (or others) though.

Just a maybe-obvious fact (maybe not):
When using the DA you will use the charge fairly often. When using the GF, you will rarely use the charge (due to risk of self-curse) except for very special situations which are few and far between. Therefore, where the DA benefits greatly from ASI and CTR, the GF really only benefits from ASI. So based on that, my vote would be on making it a GF since the single ASI UV appears to serve its common usage better.
I may be using an overly simplistic view of it, but it's an opinion for a reason :P
use both
DA: Very High ASI + High CTR
GF: Very High ASI
GF > DA for Very High ASI in value
