So I've heard some players are able to make money easily. Not sure how they do it, all I know is that some people exploit the economy, and others merch.
How would one begin making money in this game? I'd like to know all the details, please.

No thanks. Jelly King is better profit. T3 is only good for recipe runs.
Each Vanaduke token is worth 1000cr, that aside d24-d27 net you a total of 5-7k cr, how is RJP comparable? With an decent team a full FSC run doesn't take longer than 40 minutes.
Both FSC and RJP are boring when repeatedly done. The secret for being rich without ragequitting is doing RJP when it have 2 arenas on the tier, and FSC when RJP does not, or when stratum 5 have (never saw stratum 5 with 2 arenas, tho). Arena waves are always unpredictable, so they are never boring. Also, pay an elevator pass and create a crafting alt, if youre willing to leave the F2P status.
FSC pays out more than RJP. I think I made 8kcr on RJP + 2 arenas (5 levels) which isn't always an available option. In FSC alone (5 levels) I'll make ~7.5k and the material drops are way better (some of the 5* materials go for anywhere from 2-5k and can only easily be found in T3) and the tokens are worth more (3k in tokens for vanaduke, 750cr in tokens for the jelly king).
The only reason I'm not doing FSC right now is all of the fiend stages prior to it are tough for me to get through solo. I'm working on some shadow armor and once that is done they won't be a problem.
If you really want a ton of crowns, find a stratum 6 with 3-4 arenas (we had one recently)
When I was playing a lot before I was easily making 40k a day. I know some pple who could make 60-70k. All them beeing F2P. But then again at that time most people were (word removed by admin) looping arenas (I wasn't tho). Secondly a lot of these F2P players were using a second computer to've a free alt. Both practices were forbidden of course.
Frankly there's no secret, the more you play a day the more money you make. I was sadly playing an average of 5-6 hours a day. About the gate, I was picking the one that has the best crown/time ratio. Which means certainly not FSC cause it took me 1h30, 2h sometimes, to complete. And it's quiet boring. Strangely enough some T1 gates were good profits when they had guaranteed arena in it. I could speed run them and clear all my mist in a matter of 40min For a good profit. Usually about 11k. Then I would buy energy and redo it. (price energy was around 5k, or a bit more). Which means in 2 Hours I would net a profit of 23k, when FSC would make me earn 10-11k per run in the same amound of time(this includes the 1k/token). When I was in terrible need of money I would just do that all day and make tons of money in 6 hours of time. But it was so boring that usually I won't.
So I would go for PVP blast network, varying the pleasure. I was not bad at it, which ensures me to win most of my games and thus not losing crowns. In 2 hours I had enough coins to buy me a mod and sell it for 10 or 15k crowns (Before you only needed 50 coins for one mod). So now I've at least 33k and I still have two hours of gaming time ahead.
That's when I would run either JK or the Twins. Depend which one has an arena on it. I dunno if it has changed now but JK used to give more heat and crowns. But then I was thinking, Twins item were selling way better. You need to make 5 Twins run to get a Pulsar for instance, which sells for at least 30k and only requires 200 ce to unbind (profit 20k after unbinding). To get a Jk boss item that sells good, you need to do the run 6 times and 600 ce for unbinding, plus the item would not sell that good, usually selling a sealed sword nets you 10k. And twins were easyer, I had no problems beating the jk solo or with a decent group, but sometimes if I was runing with 3 two-star guys around, we would just fail. Twins were a guaranteed-win even with a whole 2 star team. You can carry them through the boss fight easily.
So I would get 40k rewards every 5 days from just selling the Twin boss item, which means 8k a day. Add to this I was always joining people at depth 12, means I only needed 100 energy to make two runs. Twins run nets you 5k without arena, 6-7k when there's one. So considering energy price was at 5k*100, I was making an extra 5k crowns or more from this. Not counting the recipes, but I was making another 4k crowns per run if Basil happens to have the ones that sell good. On top of that there's your luck, so many time I've encountered people selling high UV's or dubble-Uv items for a super low price, allowing me to resell them and make a direct 100k profit.
Anyway that's how I was making more then 40k a day. People who were using alts were making way more. I know things have changed since then, but I've stopped playing regularly not to say at all since september, I don't have the time to play that much anymore ;( but I believe there are many other ways to make even more profit. Share your tricks guys ;)

Omg ren. Stop looking for attention in general discussion. This belongs in new recruits, since it's asking questions for guides and such. Don't clutter GD with your attention seeking posts.
;D
Either run RJP or FSC, or trade 3* or 5* recipes. Whichever is most comfortable to you.
Without an elevator pass, I'd suggest running the bosses. More loot, and more crowns, and less risk.
*hipster mode engage*
Run Candlestick Keep and Scarlet Fortress. FTW.
FSC - Recipes from Basil can make you a decent profit if you get the right ones. FSC itself is worth about 10k, plus any mats you get that you sell, and the tokens at the end are worth 1k each.
If Blast Network games are going and you can win (FFA of course) that's 280 profit minimum per game.
Crafting with Mist can get you a good profit, especially if you luck out on a good UV.

Recipe trading is most profitable at 3 star and 5 star.
If you have an elevator pass:
Craft two 2 star weapons at 50 Mist each. (Brandishes are good.)
Next day, use 100 Mist and 100 CE, get a Nightblade/Iceburst Brandish.
Next day, use 100 mist and 100 CE, get a Nightblace/Iceburst Brandish.
Overall, you've spent 12-13k and made 30k.
Combine that with doing RJP while not dying and you're good for money, forever ^^
Also, try and keep an eye on auctions, just order auctions by Bid Price, and try and find 3star plus weapons/shields listed for nothing, and if you are lucky, you can get them for peanuts and sell for awesome profits.
