I cant find anything on the wiki that makes this official, though some people say that it is true, and some say that there is no difference between going on a party of 1-2-3-4 people.

Anyone know if its true or not? Proof? Maybe someone from OOO/Sega staff could answer?

Proof, I have none. But in general people would say no. However, considering levels aren't always 100% the same, there's many factors that are involved that can give the illusion it makes a difference.

In a party of four, you're usually going to have at least one purpose who goes and chops all the bushes and breaks everything for those few extra crowns. If you were alone, you might not waste your time doing this, and those are some potential crowns that you lost.

There's no real guarantee that a monster will drop xxx amount of coins so you could have some days where you kill monsters that drop lots of coins, and others where you seem to be getting a lot of heat instead.

Time for a test. We would need 10 friends/guildies.

full group to a given level.

3 solo, leaving a single soloist who locks the party.

another adds 1 player,
another adds 2,
and another fills the party.

Everybody go in with the idea of CLEARING that sucker. I'd say to stay away from wolver dens, as the chance for plant drops would vary too much. Shoot for a clockworks?

take a before and after coin count.

Ooh, maybe add to this bringing a brand new fresh weapon, say a cheapo from a vendor. Everyone buys the same thing, and see who's team has the best amount of heat?

@Tengu

@Tengu Forget the clockworks, try a boss level, where the level is always the same, besides the amount of drops that may occur that is.

If anything, you get *more* since you get to keep all the mats (which you can sell). Crowns and heat are duplicated to each party member, so there's no difference between raw crown output for solo/group. But mats aren't duplicated, so you always keep the sun silver or whatever.
