So right now, every 7:30, the connectors between floors readjust, and every 15 minutes the floors rotate one slot.
Looking at the top three floors of Diamond falcon, I'm noticing another pattern. These floors are 3, 1, 3 wide; the 3's are rotating in the same direction.
The connections from the party lobby to the first 3, and from the 1 to the second 3, are synchronized. They are either both to the far left, or both to the far right, and they move together. This is 4 observations.
Avoiding the center? Well, randomness might call that.
Paired movement? Much less likely to be random.
And that's a 5th observation, same pattern.
Conclusion: How the level connections change is NOT random. It may be complex (see side swords), but there is a pattern for us to decipher.

I think that the floors should rotate more than the connectors change. Floor rotation is predictable, and easily observable. Making that the more frequent operation would permit people to plan. Equally, the connector changing should not happen at the same time as rotations, or the rotation is pointless.
In other words, rotate at 7:30, 15, 22:30, 30, etc
Adjust connectors at 3, 18, 33, etc
(Or in some such fashion.)
Alright, someone did his homework today...i never stopped to see how much time it takes to switch a floor, but i do realized that the floor rotate one for each side, alternating the side as the depth goes down. Well, actually, i'm using this concept to select wich floor i want to do for quite some time now, so i can get those floors that have more chance for bosses, and so i can skip treasure valts, if i don't want them, or don't need them. Did this to select the arena last time ^^.
