My antialiasing level is set to 4x. If I change it to anything else such as 1x or 16x then restart the client it goes back to 4x.

Am I doing it wrong?

I know some graphics cards

I know some graphics cards cant handle 16x but that shouldnt stop you from changing to 1x....

See if you can manually change it.

Hmm

How very strange. I can manually set the registry key "antialiasing_level" to 0 and the dialog in-game reflects the change. But the next time I run Spiral Knights the value in the registry magically changes back to 2 (aka the default antialias 4x). The change in the registry occurs even before I open the options dialog or log in.

It isn't an issue at all, I just found it odd that my changes will not persist.

The only thing I can think is that something in my startup process might be resetting it? That is the only non-standard thing I'm doing in SK. I'm using the command for 64-bit Java with high priority which I copied from the performance thread:
C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe /c start "runhigh" /high "C:\program files\java\jre6\bin\javaw.exe" -jar getdown-pro.jar .

I have an ATI graphics card,

I have an ATI graphics card, and the same thing happens to me unless I change a setting in ATI's control panel. Specifically I have to set anti-aliasing to "Use application settings". Does that help?
