What I'm suggesting is some kind of indicator to... indicate that a gate has a boss, a certain boss.

This might be done by highlighting the border of the gate symbol with the boss' color.

This can save people time from looking through all the gates to find the boss that they are looking for.

If there is a rule of thumb that I have missed for finding a gate with a certain boss, tell me and ignore/kill this topic.

Um the totem poles show the

Um the totem poles show the strata. Kinda obvious there unless there are two strata in two different gates that have the exact same icon for a boss strata (A IMF and a normal Strata 4 construct)

Lordvesuvius brings up a good point, though. Sometimes you do get multiple gates with the same icon in the same spot - which can be misleading if that's the way you usually pick your gate. Perhaps an extra visual indicator, such as a highlighted border, would serve the simple and useful purpose of showing where the boss stratum (or strata, in the event that we have more than one per gate in the future) actually is in a gate?

Even if it closes

Just as a reminder/hint, you will know it is a boss level because the icon for that one is a skull & crossbones. Before them there are also level specific icons depending of the dungeon.
