Heya guys, I was wondering if you know any good programs for recording gameplay on spiral knights.
I've tried camtasia, but it made the game lag while recording, and ended up pretty crappy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VQGnPh_a2dw&list=HL1327820183&feature=mh_...

So.. Any suggestions?

Praise the sun!

Most people I know use FRAPS for any type of PC recording. There should be a free version available on their site, but I'm not sure if it has a watermark or any form of limitations.

I use a program called gtk-recordmydesktop. Much different from anyone could ever hope to use, but who am I to say? I'm on a Linux System.

Some prime examples of my recording:

On Linux you might also check ffmpeg with X11.

CamStudio + Xfire

I use CamStudio and downloaded XFire. I changed CamStudio's compressor to XFire Video Codec which made the video quality a little better. The sound quality is horrendous so i just set it to "Don't record audio"

heres an example
