I recently joined a game of LD in full proto amour and equipment and it put me into a t3 game
i normally play in t3 so i just want to know if this is intentional or if it's a glitch

As Korakc said, make sure your other loadouts that aren't T1 are switched to PvE instead of PvP.

Any equipment that is not of
Any equipment that is not of the Tier you wish to go into that is equipped or in your Loadouts can send you to the wrong Tier... that includes: Costume, Shield, Trinkets, and any gear in Loadouts that are marked PvP.

Costumes are unequipped on
Costumes are unequipped on LD. Thats why when i go T2 LD using brute jelly set, i look like a penguin.

@Gwen There was (is?) a bug
@Gwen There was (is?) a bug where you could glitch into the wrong tier due to costume items, but normally they don't count.
okay if you have loadouts they make you go to T3. just left click them all and your good.
