Bubble-Bomb: Basically a small stationary shield to give some safety from ranged attacks for fireteams to engage from, or safely heal & prep potions, or recover their shield. The shield would absorb a limited amount of damage and have a timer. (flashing before shutting off) To make things interesting, avoid abuses, perhaps design it so that shields cannot overlap or layer. if placed too close to a deployed shield, it will collapse. A new shield can be readied, but only deployed once the original shield falls. (or in a new location outside the existing shield.) Players are not protected from mobs that are inside the shield. (ranged attack or otherwise)

Basic attack: Small shield that stays active for approximately 5-6 seconds. (Enough time to charge a bomb, give or take)
Charge attack: Deploys a slightly larger shield for up to 15 seconds or so.

Upgrades increase the strength/duration of the shield. (maybe slightly increase size)

Purpose: Gives bombers a utility bomb for fortifying a position temporarily, providing a short respite from gun-puppy/polyp cross-fire. This allows level designs to increase in difficulty for teams where utility bombers become significantly more important to have along.

Heart Bomb: (Love Bomb) A place-able health station that can slowly recharge health over time. As a quick drop it would recharge anyone standing in its small radius a 1-time 1/2 tick amount. The charge attack would set up a health recharge with a small radius where characters standing in the radius would be healed slowly. Poisoned characters that wander into the radius would take damage. Does not affect mobs.

Basic attack: Sets of a small healing charge for 1/2 a tick. Increase radius and health amount with upgrades.
Charge attack: (long charge, slow movement) Sets up a healing station with a small-med radius. Recharges health until expires. (or limit to total health) Increases radius, recharge rate, (and total health limit)

Purpose: A utility bomb for extended outings. Might be a high price to carry in a slot but can help keep a team alive in Arena-type levels. Allows new level types that perhaps have no/far fewer health drops.

Hrmhrmhrm..

Bubble-Bomb = Guardian's Shield in PvE. Blah. Make it only a Charge attack, no regulars.

Heart Bomb: Terrible idea. NO...HEALING. You guys just really want a Game Genie for the CW don'tcha?

The bubble is both useless and overpowered depending of the situation you put it on.

Against small groups you dont really need it. With big groups, they'll just destroy it before you switch and charge weapons. On big maps, you can run around and keep moving, no need to stay and use this bubble. Remaining on one place is a bad idea, the shield wont last forever and you give enemies a chance to swarm you.

Melee enemies will just get inside it anyways. Against a small of group of puppies it's unnecesary (they give enough time between attacks, you can circle around them,etc)

The only place where i'd want this is at arenas wiht the final wave of like 8 turrets at once, but then i dont think the shield will last much there.

The only way I could see this

The only way I could see this working is if the bubble is invincible and has a limited timer, like say five seconds. It also works like a mender shield in that it has knockback upon deployment and enemies can't enter it. It could have interesting utility in Lockdown, dunno where it would be particuarly helpful in the Clockworks.

It's a nice idea, but I'm not sure how you could make it realistically useful in SK.

@Asukalanforum Yo right

@Asukalanforum
Yo right man
there should also be a rule about no commenting about the energy system.

I say no to both, bubble is overpowered and they already said they wont be making healing weapons.
