So i got this idea for a new pvp mode called, Kill the fool with the snipe!
Description:
So the idea is about a snipe which 1 player has. A timer begins to run from 0 sec and up. The player that has the snipe has to be chased down and killed by the other players. whoever kills him gets the snipe and is the next to be chased down and so on. Whoever holds out the longest while getting chased is the winner. The chasers can only hit the 'fool with the snipe' not other chasers. Imagine pacman getting chased by the ghosts.
Whoever starts with the snipe is either random or fixed. Either there are as much rounds as there are players so each player has the chance to get chased or a player is randomly chosen by a 'prize wheel' type of system to decide who starts off with the snipe and the next will be the one killing the 'fool with the snipe'. The chasers start in the middle of the map. Some maps have hazards like rockets, spikes, fire, etc. Just like in Lockdown and or Blastnetwork. Some of the maps will include the ability to run out of the map on the right, left, up or down side so u end up on the other side of the map just like they have in pacman.
Rewards will be Krogmo coins, bombhead masks, mist tanks etc as usual.
Let me know what u guys think. In my opinion this could be fun as hell.
Free-for-all Oddball would be fun, I guess, if there was more than one ball. Otherwise, unless you had an insane speed boost, you'd probably be overrun very quickly. Pacman mechanics on the map are not an idea I'm fond of, mostly because of how things like bombs would work.
Would it be a better idea to have a set match length with high-score winning, or a better idea to have a set goal-time (hold the ball for sixty seconds) with an unlimited round length?
