I'm not the fastest typer in the world, and I want to do some "charity work" - leading Newbs down under - eventually. So some "programmable"("toggling"?) Hotkeys to issue Commands to your Party Members, would be very useful to me. Perhaps it shouldn't be made available in general, but Party Leaders - or at the very least, Guild Officers/Masters - should perhaps have this Option made available to them.
Probably just basic stuff. "Attack", "Defend", "Wait", "Caution", "Go!" and, of course, the ever-popular "Come on!". And some more advanced tactical Commands shouldn't be too hard to add; "I'll take care of this", "Take the lead", Take the rear". Designating each Party Member a specific role via the Hotkey Command system would be nice too. Assuming it is taken for granted that the Party Leader should "take point" or be the "Brunt", then designations might be "1st/Main Support", "2nd/Secondary Support" and "General Support/Gatherer". "Gatherer" as in the weakest player who MIGHT not be able to risk any direct action, but picks up all the goodies while the other players press on ahead.
Oh! And - if s/he can't already - the Party Leader should be able to give any of their Four hotslot Items to any Party Member directly, outside of a Trade Invite. Y'know SHIFT+SLOThotkey and then the Hotkey for the Party Member and then 1, 2, or 3 to indicate how many of the Item to give over. I realize that any party member can revive any other defeated party member by sacrificing half of their own Health, but that has GOT to be an inconvenient method in some cases.
You can give vials and other pickups by dragging it out of the circle.
You can give orders with the numbers keys on your numpad. Just check you controls.
