When we have special functions like fashion shows, races, or lockdown tournaments, it would be great if we could form groups, call them "cabals" or something, for this activity.
We need the ability to form (temporary) new groups.

Notice how he said "temporary"? If you are already in a guild, and want to set up something with some friends outside of your guild, it can be extremely frustrating.
An idea for this is to have an invite-only haven that you could buy for a day for 10K cr or something.

For races and fasion shows (although....really? -.-) just find an empty-ish haven and invite friends to join you, also I know what he said, but it's beyond pointless. The only thing that would be useful would the ability to form colosium teams and work it like they did in gears of war 1.
Buying a haven for the day? some of the higher numbered havens are empty a lot of the time anyway, so....no, bad idea.

Yeah, but this way no trolls would run around ruining it. If buying a haven bothers you, maybe buying a temporary group instead, then heading to an empty haven.

At least go for something unique and different like a private room instead of duplicating whole Haven for such a small thing.
I do like custom lockdown groups but the rest is unnecesary.

Why would you need to but a temporary group if you are going to an empty haven? just pm your friends and they can join you with the "join" button. Buying a haven doesn't "bother" me, but spending 10k or any money on an area that you will use for maybe an hour or two is stupid and if too many people did this it would cause more server lag...yay. It would be nice to put the people who "race" around Haven all in one place though....maybe offline?
Anyway make team match making possible for the Coliseum, but if you want around, find a quiet haven and bring your friends. Nothing needs to be implemented in this game for functions like fashion shows or races. Just meaningless over complication.

I like that idea, as long as it was large enough, and had a crafting place or whatever, and you could form lockdown team with just the people inside. Maybe just use the guild hall art and touch it up a little so it doesn't look so gloomy.

The guild lock down team
The guild lock down team builder should be modified to include your friends list "the rest is unnecesary".
Aren't they already called guilds?
