The reason some people in this game don't like me is because i'm 100% (and usually brutally) honest with everybody. People don't like being told they are acting in idiotic ways and people don't like it when somebody proves them wrong. I don't go to peoples threads and flame their INABILITY to do things. They come to my threads and flame my ABILITY to do things. I simply destroy the haters after they flame me because I don't take crap and that will always be my nature.

How this relates to what you said is: You state that how people treat you is based on how you act. People act in negative ways towards me (99% of the time I'm minding my own business when it happens) which is what brings out the side of me that they hate, which is me putting them back in their place (where they should never have stepped out of). I'm always on the defense and can't stand antagonists. You will never see ANYTHING out of me unless you go out of your way to start a conflict.

And to Post #50, I think that Fov had CTR VH, ASI h, and something else. I'm not sure if that was the 7.5m one, but I can GUARANTEE way back there was an FoV with CTR VH and ASI H. The bid price was 800k, and the B/O I do not recall.

I edited it out, because you were right, it was not very nice. not very nice at all. But you read it, and i hope you can see the truth in it.

I don't know if you don't get it, don't know, or just don't care. I was 100% right about why people don't like you. Its something to consider and be aware of. At least hopefully know you are conscious of how people perceive you as a braggart, and the way this colors their opinions of you. Its not "brutal honesty" that is rubbing soo many people the wrong way.

@ purg. not jealous of his equipment. i have all the gear, and costumes, and awesome UVs i need. I was just trying to enlighten him why some people didn't like him, in case he honestly didn't know. I got a little carried away, because i was annoyed. What was intended as enlightening became somewhat rantish. I fixed that.

Hopefully this can all resolve itself in a constructive way. Hopefully chris can at least take some of that to heart, and see how some of his actions rub the community in an abrasive and unpleasant way. Just as i realized my thorough, albeit acerbic, analysis was in poor taste and removed it.

very nice sell, chris. While its not the highest player-made auction buyout by far, its still an amazing price. Thats how its done folks. Thats how you make profits. Sure some people spend money on the game, but shrewd gamesmanship will always take you farther than just spending money alone. This is a perfect example of someone working the economy. (even if its a paying player who spends money on the game. Someone could have just as easily bought 1 package and made 50k+ ce off of it).

I actually didn't read more than the first half sentence of your wall of text post before I scrolled down and read your second one. If you want this to be resolved, stop posting flame in my threads. This would literally eliminate 100% of the problem.
Maybe thinking about the above will make you understand why you are 100% of the problem that you are claiming to dislike to much.

Thank you for posting on topic as well. The point of this thread was to share my WOW at the amount paid for an item obtained from a $10 ce package and put up as a player auction. I also had never seen an auction with a bid for more than 2m or so.

B) His problem is with people who are self-absorbed. His posts don't reflect the self-absorbed attitude.

At least on the forums, I can easily establish a very large list of people who are far from mature enough to be considered for Knightmare try-outs which saves my recruitment council LOADS of time.

We know he read the whole thing. It was going to go one of two ways:

#1) this way. if someone has that approach to life, they are unlikely to ever be broken of it. And they'll just continue living in their carefully constructed alter-universe, buffeted by the soft and reassuring cushions of attribution error and self-deluge.

#2) he really didn't understand why people disliked him, and the truth would have been eye-opening. And maybe some small change would have occured.

I didn't have any expectations of #2. I just got annoyed, put him on blast. vented. and then edited it out. Life keeps on churning.
