Occasionally either during or after a run, I will open a message panel or auction house and numbers will automatically fill the bar. I won't be able to type at all, b/c numbers (usually 2's) fill the bar quickly. This issue is unique to my account, as it occurs on two different computers. I share computers without another spiral knights player and they have never had this issue on either computer. Help?

Whatever the Mac OS defaults were, were installed. I took them off and we'll see if that does the trick. Thanks very much for the suggestion!

And nope...
Assuming I disabled the non English IMEs correctly, it hasn't helped. Anybody else had this problem?
Pretty sure it is something unique to my account. I have played with another account (so using the same key configuration) on both our computers and haven't had this problem with any other account buy mine.

Same problem.
Whenever I use a health capsule/vial while moving, numbers (according to slot) fill up my chat, and only hitting delete+type at the same time can let me talk. For example 11111111111111r1111111111111111111e1111111111111111v11111111111111m1111111111111111111me. But if I get the bug twice, even the delete key cannot stop the flow. 1212121212121212 ect, ect ect. Using mac snow leopard.

You got a key stuck. Just mash the key that is being repeated and it should stop. If it doesnt you'll have to restart SK.
At least you didnt get your attack key stuck during a run. You keep charging your weapon and you cant even shield or attack.

Only with numbers.
I've gotten this too, at least 5 times on two separate computers. And I've seen two other people have the same problem. But it never seems to be with letters, only repeating numbers. It usually clears up after a few minutes or so, or a depth change/restart even. I really don't think it was from getting my keys stuck, since no other application was affected and key mashing was completely futile.

I've been in contact with the SK folks about this issue and it looks like it's related to key mapping:
"Have you noticed this issue starting up immediately after you throw a vial? It
seems that sometimes the key bindings do not always recognize the difference
between numpad numbers and the top row numbers and this causes the game to get
stuck repeating a key.
Sometimes re-binding the same keys can fix this or experimenting with
different keys from the top number row."
I changed the keys up a bit and haven't had the problem reoccur, so fingers crossed!
Do your systems have other input methods (IME) configured?
I have Chinese IME installed, and I know if I ever type any Chinese characters into SK, the chat bar will go nuts and fill up quickly with question marks (a sign of using wrong encoding).
Perhaps you accidentally triggered IME with the key config you're using in SK. The default key config shortcut keys involve Ctrl and Left Shift.
