Hi guys.

Simple question: I've just crafted an owlite shield, planning crafting a grey owlite. And I got a fire resistence medium UV.

If I craft this shield into a grey owlite, will this UV boosts my fire resistence since grey owlite is "max" fire or will be "useless" not boosting anything??

Thx for the help in advance :)

.

Resistances matter beyond the visible bar, so strictly speaking it will probably do something. I couldn't say how much it will do, though.

the bar they show you is

the bar they show you is worthless for lack of a better word. For example, Ancient plate shield and Volcanic shows the same normal defense. They aren't the same, Ancient has a higher amount.

It'll help, but as Antistone

It'll help, but as Antistone said, how much better? No clue. In the end, the notice might not be too significant. You can try to sell it for a decent profit and just settle with a regular grey owlite, which still works fine.

Kinda useless

Vanilla ( no uv ) grey owlite shields can walk through 5 slag breaths without even changing color, that should tell you something :P
