I have a suggestion: Training areas for the King Krogmo's Coliseum events

In the past few days since I started playing this game, I tried out both the Lockdown and Blast Network events to see how the gameplay works in them. Of course, being a new player myself, I haven't made good results since I faced far more experienced players in the games.

But then this occurred to me. What if we have training areas for both of these Krogmo game events to practice in so we can get a better practice and understanding of these games before we take on the real deal? I think it can become a useful support for new players or long-time players who never played in the coliseum before.

If it's not possible for such a training area to be freely open to everyone like the Advanced Training Hall, then how about giving each guild hall their very own Krogmo practice area, seeing as our guild halls needs more variety in the activities we do in there besides the private "outdoor" conversations we have with our guild members and having only an Alchemy machine as our alternative.

Thank you for reading my suggestion, and I hope to hear an answer soon.

Let me ask you this question, what exactly will this training area entail?

I think the lockdown training area should be simple, a small arena with a capture point in the middle in which you can equip each of the upgrades and fight in pvp vs guild mates or friends you have partied up with. It would be great to get the guild together to talk about different tactics we each use in lockdown and train some of our newer members/players.

As for a blast network training arena, don't have a suggestion for that.

Rest assured Phoenyx, if I could just "practice" with friends and guildies, I would never ever touch the real lockdown ever again.

Well...

@ Diabound - Personally, I haven't got a solid vision of what this training hall should be like, but I do know the flaw behind playing a lockdown the first time is having the pressure of taking part in it without knowing how to put each class into proper effect. Also, having experienced players meshed together with beginners will make it difficult for new lockdown players to learn sufficiently with the little time they have. I think that's what the training area should focus on: giving players room to learn lockdown battles without being under the heat of the moment.

As for Blast Network, I think it can be a miniaturised version of the original, where players can learn the effects of powerups on the map.

@ Phoenyx - Well, the point I stated about guild-only training halls is there to make sure the lockdown training isn't favoured too much over the real one for everyone. (Although, prizes and Krogmo coins separates training from the real deal). PvP sounds like a good idea but what Diabound said is plausible, so this needs more thought so it won't clash with the actual games.

I think everyone's welcome to input their opinion about it so we can make the idea for Krogmo training area work.

It's not a bad

It's not a bad idea.

Lockdown. Now in Lockroom area you have a short description of every class. But there's no time to read each of them during game really. Simply making three rooms (small like the ones in Advanced Training Hall, 6x6 tiles), where player can read those description, wear class shield and push "X" to test how it work. There even can be test dummy in Recon and Guardian rooms to activate Death Mark and Healing. Somewhere near there may be Capture Point (behind walls, just like treasure boxes in Advanced Training Hall) with brief description what Capture Point is and how does it work. Plus, there may be snowballs spawn pad and water spawn pad with some respawning fire tiles nearby.

Blast Network. Description of every power up is pretty much you need to know here. Also there may be area showing spikes and rockets that Stun you, instead of dealing damage.

@ Merethif That sounds like a good description for a lockdown training area. Simple, but as good as what you learn while in the Advanced Training Hall.

Do you think strikers need test dummies as well so they can get used to coordination between dash and attack on their targets?
