I want to create a guild.

But I don't want this to be another pointless, completely unoriginal guild like most I have been in. I would like it if it had a good point, geared towards something. Below are some ideas I have had:

1. Trading Guild
A guild totally geared towards crafting items, and selling them for money. This would mean selling accessories, crafting equipment, and selling mats. I don't really know if anyone would share my enthusiasm for this kind of guild, though.

2. "Panache" Guild
A guild meant for the most cool characters of spiral knights. My character looks cool enough, with 4 star virulisk armor, maedate, canteen, and cool dragon wings. Perhaps this is a good one.

3. "Shut up the Beggars" Guild
Okay, this guild is the least in my mind. Considering that getting a proto guy to tier 2 only costs a ridiculously low sum of 5-6k, perhaps dedicating a guild to doing this would not be a bad idea. Not very interested in this idea though.

Please, readers, give some ideas!

This reminds me of the thread where some guy was going to create a guild, but wants someone else to find a name

Hrm...

Perhaps you could blend ideas one and three, appealing to a greater variety of players. You'll have to determine how a trade guild would benefit from having more people in it. Agreeing not to sell the same things on the same day? Discussion of market possibilities and attempting to forecast trends? A crafting guild is likely to make a lot of extra weapons and armor, which you could assemble into kits. (One helm, armor, a shield and maybe 2-3 weapons.) The kits could be handed out to new players that meet certain criteria, agreed on by the officers in the guild.

Having a good concept helps, but you'll need a few other people committed to your mission.

A proper name for a proper guild

Heh, < Lawl Stfu Beggars >.
I think a good name should be meaningful and/or satirical and humorous, regardless of what you choose to be the focus. Remember, the guild name will often be the first impression most people leave with about the guild. And you have to take into consideration any possible competition from similar or better known guilds of the same focus.

Please do NOT make that 3rd

Please do NOT make that 3rd guild. A guild filled with people who get to T2 for free? Yeah, I'm sure they'll stop begging when they get that much out of it <_>

Only make this if they ever make an "ignore guild" option.
