Hey, so here's my quandry. I'm using a magnus as the back up to my sword so when I solo T2 (which ends up being most of the time cos random groups can end up being a bit disasterous, not cos of people just because of the random party joining thing) ... anyway, means quite often if i get into an arena or a locked down room and have to contend with a million constructs get a bit overwhelming. Or there are plenty of times I want to kite things and it doesn't quite cut it.
I was going to make a ton of Haze Bombs until I got a decent UV and then upgrade it along the fire line, because fire is badass. But I heard once you hit T3 fire bombs are useless, also I want to get an avenger so having all elemental stuff would be a bit too specialised (also i realised mats like blast powder and torchstone I don't come across much). [also, i don't want poison - cos that'd only be really useful for JK i think, freeze would be a bit useless when in groups cos everyone goes a bit trigger happy (blade? happy), and there are no shock bombs :C]
So then I figured I'd make the blast bomb line ... the mats are fairly common and it does normal damage so would be an allrounder ... but I've seen folks saying its bad to deal normal damage, why? ... is it cos those people have 4 weapon slots and something to deal with every situation and thus be always using the best damage type ... or is something else up with normal?
So yeah, it'll be a while till i got the spare cash/energy to make a ton of these things and open a 3rd slot ... but wanted to keep my eyes out for the recipes if neccessary...

Stick to haze bombs and gravity bombs. IMO blast bombs are garbage considering the knockback on them makes every fight a freaking goose chase.
Frost haze is always welcomed with its major crowed control. Poison, however, is my favorite. Reduces both enemy defense and attack damage, not to mention the already helpful utility of stopping any healing done.
Gravity bombs makes cleaving all enemies a breeze. Mix it up with sword charge attacks and you can clear rooms instantly.
