As of two days ago, my connection to the SK server started to get really bad. The
latency was abominable, teleportation was very frequent, and half the time (quite literally)
I could see people walking off the screen. Also, my connection sometimes completely
blacked out and nothing moved/no interfaces worked. So I wonder if there is a problem
with the server or if it's my internet.
Some pics of the spectacular lag:
I experienced something like this on a FSC run just an hour and a half ago. My client kept having terrible framerate, sometimes coupled with the game music not playing (though water orb sounds and Vana's "heartbeat" were still playing.
On one particularly bad spike, Steam almost crashed and I was logged out of Spiral Knights, but thankfully when I logged back in my knight was almost where I left it, just a bit up and to the right, lying dead in some shadow fire. Having been revived by my teammate while my computer was still frozen, I clicked to revive, only to die immediately, but still in the state of haven been given health by a teammate. I then was able to revive successfully, as if the first time the revive just wasn't processed.
I also had an interesting frame which I was stuck at for a minute. The two slag guards had a strange attack telegraph: a large purple circle, with no prongs. Also, there were two grey skeletons in mid air, as if a zombie in the middle of it's death animation (we were in phase 5, so there shouldn't have been anything other than slag guards and Vana around and those were all accounted for, so I have no clue what I was seeing)
I'll see if I can recover a screenshot, but it isn't hopeful. I tried taking pics through Steam, but I have no confirmation that it took a screenshot, or that if it did the screenshot it took is the same as what I saw. I had also hit PrntScn, but my computer crashed while loading D29, and I hadn't been able to open a image editor to save the screenshot.
