If you Started your Character, & Saw two of the three Starting Gear Appealing to you, but could only Choose 1, it would drive you Insane. My Suggestion is to make the other Pieces Buyable from the Auction House.

I've got Fancy Spiral Brigandine and Sallet and sometimes that colour just doesn't go with what costumes I want to wear.

Yes, I will necro this thread. This needs to be available already. It's almost like punishing long-time players, to disallow them from choosing things that weren't available when they started. I've been playing since the Preview Event and as much as I love my Groundbreaker armor, I'd really like to wear a Heavy Flak Jacket sometimes.

The new proto armors make for a crap ton more costume possibilities, available only to new players.
Just make it costume only and call it "Ceremonial [color] [type]"
For example, "Ceremonial Heavy Round Helm."
I like those new gears the devs added and i really want them as a costume as the look really cool.

No, don't sell proto gear in AH. Sometimes when people get hacked and scammed, they would have no armor. What would they wear?

There would be a utility button that exists on General wares dealer(dunno whats his name) in haven. This utility button will change your knight's proto set. It will cost 300 crs to use this utility(0* helmet and armor price).When you use this, a window will be popped up, and will let you change your knight's proto set and style(and also helmet's accs), similar to the knight creation menu. Once used, the old proto gears will be deleted and your new proto gears will be bound to you(for protecting selling different styles of proto gear individually).
Just one veeeeeeeeeeery little detail i missed: there are many color variations, yet they all have the same name wich would look weird and make it annoying to find the right one.
But they could add the color as a prefix, like to accesories :D
