Taking it in xtryde is an idea for a comic I rediscovered, which I had first thought of making a few weeks after I began playing spiral knights. The character has undergone some changes but overall its still the core story I had wrote.
Xtryder a female miner who delves the clockworks evading conflict and hunting for minerals that she can sell discovers a weapon of magnificent power and leaps at the chance for superior technology. She finds herself in the middle of a mercenary and bandit war for the “Gyro-Blade” and seeks to discover its origins for her own.
I will be working on the first few panels this coming week and should be posting them before the week end.

Today I experienced quite some terror and amazement while delving for minerals, I stumbled into some area of a gremlins mining operations on accident. I couldn't see any sign of what corp they were working for but the place was crawling with the little guys and it was apparent from the snarled look upon their faces they weren't very friendly. But who should blame them, ever since we discovered them under our colonies here on cradle the majority of knights have seen them and referred to them as menacing and fiendish rats. It wasn't long before I came upon a transport with a fat chunk of mineral, one the size of which i'd never seen. If I could even gather a third of it I wouldn't have to go hungry for a good month. My curiosity got the best of me and I followed, sure to stay out of sight which was difficult, the passages were a bit lower in this quadrant of the clockworks and I am rather tall in comparison to any gremlin. Well it led me to the grandest discovery; it was a supply depot, the largest collection of minerals in one place I'd ever seen. I'd heard of these stockpiles before that service as a station for fueling gremlin machinery, but never would I have thought to have laid eyes on any. While I don't condone theft I must say the temptation was too high to resist I began chipping away at some minerals and before long I had filled my satchel. This was all I could carry at this time but I found much more than I had expected to, it wasn't a months worth of foods worth, but it was something. The one thing I wasn't expecting was what happened next. As I was on my way to exit the facility I heard some clammer from beyond the service access I was crawling through. This was the first time I'd ever layed eyes on it. This was the gyro blade, and before too much longer I would-
