that happened to me yesterday. I actually checked to see if I was on one of those teams. We won, but I don't know if we got the 2 tokens since the reboot was right at the score screen.
As long as the message saying you earned your tokens showed up, you most likely did get your tokens from that game.
Reminds me of my experiences on the LD preview server, only we didn't finish and that was the last and only game I played before the server shut down. Good times.
I've once downed Vanaduke before the reboot, but there was not enough time to grab the tokens.
