Those of you who have unused dragon wings, don't sell them yet. Save them.

They're being removed from the cash shop on the 13th, at least for a while, so people won't be able to get them from the store anymore. As time goes on their supply in the community will decrease, which will result in a rise in demand and price for them in the future, even the cheaper ones like Heavy and Toasty wings.
Save them now, wait for the supply to decrease and the price to go up, and profit.

I know right? Who would've figured it out. Economics, man.

Does this really need to be pointed out to the people who are too stupid to realize this by themselves?

I've saved some of the less rare ones, but here is my advice to you: unless you plan on playing the game for a year or more, and holding those items, sell them on the first day of the promo. The Redux regalia sets are selling for virtually the same thing they were selling during promo, and the Stranger hats aren't selling. The only sets that have increased in value are the original regalia. There are more of us now than ever with the steam add, and so I don't foresee a large increase in demand.
I'll necro this thread in a year if i'm horribly wrong though.

I have 36k CE at the moment with another 20k or so coming soon, so I don't really feel the need to sell them off, with what they're worth at the moment. I can afford to wait.

Not quite.
Many people spend/spent/are spending $$$ right now. I know some people who have tons of costumes- Rose Sets, Redux Sets, Stranger Hats, and now, Dragon Wings.
Maybe in a year or two this will be true. At the moment? No.
a penny today is worth than a penny tomorrow

Also, a penny today is still worth a penny tomorrow. If you are looking to extol the virtues of selling now, the saying is " a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush".

it cracks me up that any one would think this needed to be pointed out. more so that any one wouldn't have thot of it o their own.

um no? the only mistake was that i made a typo and didn't add the word more. "a penny today is worth more than a penny tomorrow"

i followed these instructions, and im now struggling to find a buyer for my divine dragon wings at all D:
That might just be crazy enough to work.
